Is the app available in English?
The app currently works in Spanish. This website is available in English and Spanish; the English app experience is part of the next stage. You can sign up now if you are comfortable using the app in Spanish.
Do I need a tablet?
No. You can use Skendal from a phone or computer browser. A shared tablet is an optional extra place for your household to check in. You can also add the app to your home screen.
How do I invite my household?
An adult sends an email invitation from the Household section. The recipient opens the link, creates an account or signs in, and accepts the invitation.
What happens when the store has no signal?
Open your lists while online first. You can then add, check and remove products in that browser without a connection. Changes synchronize when you reconnect. Keep your browser data until pending changes have synchronized.
Will I be charged when I sign up?
No card is needed to create an account. Automatic subscription payments are not active. Any future paid plan will show its price and conditions before you choose it.
What information does Skendal use?
Your email supports sign-in, invitations and account recovery. Tasks, lists, notes, dates and photos are stored to share with authorized household members. Photos use private storage; finances have additional access controls. Cloudflare, Supabase and Resend provide hosting, the backend and email. Offline shopping lists are stored in your browser.
